Enter your netball team for the Panthers fun day at Ferdies

The local Panthers Netball Club is arranging a netball fun day  for old age homes at Ferdinand Postma High School on 16 April, when teams can compete and show their skills while also giving back to the community.

SAVF Ons Hulde, Huis Anna Viljoen and Silvermed are the beneficiaries of the fun day, sponsored by Sunbake.

The event will start at 09:00 and promises to be a great day out on the netball courts as various teams of all shapes and sizes will compete.

All club, corporate and school teams can enter to participate in the tournament. Mixed teams, with two men per team, are also welcome.

Entries cost R300 per team, with each one required to provide their own referee (minimum C grading).  Those who are unable to do so will be asked to pay  an additional R150.

Each team should bring a bag containing toiletries, crockery, adult diapers, donations, food, linen and so forth to the event as a donation of necessities for the homes.   Spectator can pay R10 at the gate or gain entry by bringing along non-perishable food items or toiletries.

Entries close on Wednesday, 6 April.
