Here is your chance to propose solutions to crime in Potch

A first of its kind in Potchefstroom – a civilian crime summit.
This is part of the plan of Brigadier Steven Moodley, the station commander in Potchefstroom, to turn the tide against crime. The event will take place at the officer’s club next to the police station from 09:00 to 13:00 on 9 June.

The summit is a chance for the community to engage with the police on what the major crime problems are in Potchefstroom. The aim of the event is not only for the community to identify problems but also to be part of the solution.

Once the most problematic crimes have been identified, community members, alongside the police, will have a chance to give their opinions on how these crimes can be reduced.
All these suggestions will then be compiled into a workable crime action plan for Potchefstroom, specifically.
Moodley has promised to tackle crime head-on and, so far, it looks like he is keeping his promise to the community of Potchefstroom.
Moodley implores all residents to attend the summit.
