DRAFT WILLS FOR FREE: NATIONAL WILLS WEEK: 17-21 September 2018.

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development and its stakeholders is inviting the JB Marks community to participate in the National Wills Week at Potchefstroom main taxi rank from 09:00 to 14:00, next Tuesday.
According to Ad. Mmone Sebotha, the Assistant Master of the High Court Mafikeng,  the aim of the initiative is to educate the public about the importance of drafting a will.
‘During the week, the public will be supported to draft wills for free. Please bring along the following documents: ID document, list of all assets that you own and beneficiary information,’ she said.
She says the the National Wills Week strives to attain the following set of objectives:
1. To create awareness about the significance of drafting and having a Will.
2. To render pro-bono service to those who demonstrate interest in having a Will
3. To provide referral service to those who wish to lodge claims with Master’s Offices.
4. To assist expedite pending cases already in the system relating to administration of estates
